Take a self-guided tour of 10 architecturally significant, mid-century modern Eichler homes in San Rafael’s Lucas Valley neighborhood, with classic cars highlighting each location. Knowledgeable docents will be on-hand to answer questions. An addtional option, you can join us for a delightful luncheon in an Eichler home.

Joseph Eichler was a world-renowned, innovative home developer and social visionary. Open Hearts, Open Homes gives visitors a personal, exclusive inside view of some of his most beautiful homes.

Marin County leads the country with the most examples of Eichler architecture. This style of housing is honored and recognized by the National Registry of Historic Places.
