Hospice By The Bay is an independent not-for-profit organization and licensed home health agency accredited by the Community Health Accreditation Program and certified by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. Services are provided in Marin, San Francisco, Northern San Mateo, and Sonoma counties.
Hospice By The Bay Foundation is inspired by the belief that specialized comfort care and quality end-of-life services are basic human rights. The Foundation was created in 1997 to ensure that multi-focused hospice and palliative programs and services would continue and advance into the millennium.
Over the past 30 years, Hospice By The Bay and the Foundation have built strong philanthropic relationships with individuals, businesses, corporations and foundations to sustain the vital services provided by Hospice By The Bay. This generous support allows us to elevate awareness on all issues surrounding end of life and offer community programs such as lectures and seminars that address practical, spiritual and emotional concerns relating to matters at the end of life.
