Hospice By The Bay is no longer a hospice serving just one community, but a hospice and palliative care provider responsive to the growing needs of patients and their loved ones in Marin, San Francisco, Northern San Mateo, and Sonoma counties. Many exciting developments are underway to better serve these communities and to ensure the highest quality hospice and palliative care. Hospice By The Bay is a non-profit, community-based hospice and palliative care provider serving Marin, San Francisco, Northern San Mateo, and Sonoma counties. As the second oldest hospice in the U.S., we understand the medical, practical, emotional and spiritual care patients and their families need during the final stages of life. 

Hospice By The Bay is funded through Medicare and other healthcare reimbursement, as well as donations from individuals and businesses. Hospice By The Bay raises funds to ensure that patients and families have access to our compassionate care, regardless of personal circumstance; to meet the end-of-life care needs of under-served populations; and to support new and innovative Hospice By The Bay programs.
